Not really high- low fashion (where you sport high end designer pieces with other items that are more affordable), but here I’m showing you can pair something a bit more expensive like Guess jeans with a very affordable shirt from one of my fave shopping hot spots: H&M. If you’re not familiar with H&M allow me to offer you an education… it’s on trend, extremely affordable (especially if you’re able to wait to purchase when they have sales) and easy to find whether at one of their many stores or online. They have something like 10 H&M locations in NYC. It was like Heaven to me!

Today, I’m wearing a long-sleeved Modern Essentials t-shirt from H&M.  The shirt is a 55% linen and 45% cotton blend with Raglan sleeves.

Not to be outdone by the top, I’m sporting Guess Skinny Jeans in Painted Canyon Wash.  They are a skinny cut from top to bottom and sit low on the hips.  The fabric is 92% cotton, 7% polyester and 1% elastane to add a bit of stretch.  Whisker patterns are added for a natural looking finish.  The dying process ensures each pair is completely unique.  The jeans have a zip fly and leather logo patches.

Did you know I LOVE boots? Well, if you’ve seen my closets (and yes, that’s closets plural as in multiple walk ins packed full of everything you can adorn your body with) then you know I do as I have entire racks and rows full of boots. One of my fave boot looks that I think goes with nearly anything: cowboy boots! I’m a fairly late conversion to cowboy boot love, but here I complete my look with Luchesse M2600 74 Mens Anthracite Grey Distressed Leather Boots.  They have a braided stitching detail up the side and around the top.  The boots are made comfortable with a leather interior, leather sole and rubber heel.  Functionality is enhanced with pull tabs on either side of each boot. These can be worn all day with comfort and ease! Just like me, they have the feel of a classic with a fresh and contemporary appeal.
